Kat Lee: Bounty Hunter takes us in the middle of a futuristic scenario, where cyborgs are part of the world we live in, and where a cool chick is the bounty hunter going after one of them. There isn’t a lot of focus on technology or the future here though, so for the most part this is just a bounty hunter story, with explosions, guns, bombs and action scenes. There are a lot of dark silhouettes used in these symbols, so you don’t get too see many specifics.
The slot’s action takes place on 5 reels, while the number of paylines is 30. The feature collection that the game offers is generous, giving you bonus games, multiple scatter symbols, free spins and a wild. The slot’s big prize is valued at about $25,000, which is a bit low for this developer.
Features of Kat Lee: Bounty Hunter
Though many other titles from Amaya don’t make a serious effort in this area, “Kat Lee: Bounty Hunter” is full of features and special symbols that will help you along the way. There are about five different types of scatter symbols alone, as you will discover below.
The wild is the only non-scatter symbol from the list of special icons, with its image being an image of the city, with the words Bounty Hunter Wild on it. As any respecting wild symbol does, this one also substitutes for most of the game icons, but not for the scatters. The wild is going to give away the top jackpot as well, for which you will need five identical symbols on the same active bet line.
The cash awarding scatters are represented by a Bomb and a Grenade. They can offer prizes on their own, just with identical symbols, or they can mix both types and give you smaller prizes. Either way, you need a minimum of three paying scatters to be present in the game. If they are identical, scatters will give you 5x to 50x the triggering bet, when there are between three and five of them. If they are a mix of both Bombs and Grenades, the payouts are 2x to 15x.
The bonus game is triggered by a symbol that can only be present on the reels 1, 2 and 3. With all three reels hosting one of these symbols, you get the bonus game. It has three levels that you can advance through. As for the image used for it, look for the silhouette of a man that is in the crosshairs, with the word Bonus written underneath.
Free Games Feature
You’re not going to be impressed with the number of free games this slot awards you, as only 3 of them are offered. They do have a x3 multiplier though, so at least you get prizes three times bigger than the paytable mentions. You also can’t retrigger this feature. The initial trigger is the appearance of a Kat Lee symbol on the 1st reel and a Cyborg on the 5th. Both have the words “Free Spin” written on them.
Betting options and jackpots
Offering slightly different options than other Amaya slots, Kat Lee will first give you the option to select as many lines as you want (1 to 30). Next, there is the option to change the number of coins to be used on the active lines (1 to 10 coins). The denomination change is another option at your disposal, the range being $0.01 to $0.25. Max out every option and you spend $75 for a single spin.

Design and symbols
The theme seems to be futuristic at first based on what it involves, but you don’t see a lot of clues of it, with the exception of the cyborg that is followed by Kat Lee. I didn’t enjoy the lack of detail in the symbols, most of them being simple dark silhouettes that hint at characters or cityscapes, without giving you something serious to look at. It’s not a badly designed game though, just not a very revealing one.

When it comes to features, this slot does quite well and gives you about five different triggers for special events, while graphics are OK but they fail to offer enough detail to keep the player interested for long. It should be a good choice as a short term game though.
