Heist Slots

HeistHeist is a BetSoft 3D Slot, meaning that it’s one of their better looking and more feature rich titles. The theme is a robbery, with a couple of guys shown as they’re trying to break into a bank vault. Explosives seem to play a big role in their strategy, but they’re also armed to the teeth and ready to use their weapons. It has a fairly modern design, with metallic graphics all around the action area, with 3D symbols and a quality that you will enjoy. The robbery theme is common enough, you should have no problem finding at least half a dozen other slots with a similar subject.

Heist’s 5 reels give you 30 paylines, in a game that BetSoft created for their 3D Slots category. You will only be able to go after prizes worth about $2,500 in it, but at least they’ve made sure that every major type of feature was available to you, including wild symbols, free games, bonus games, scatters and multipliers.

Features of Heist

You will get four different features inside, each one requiring another symbol to trigger it. The variety in the quantity of features offered is one thing about these 3D slots that everyone can get onboard with, making them entertaining choices.

The C4 explosive will appear in various parts of the game, and for the most part it will be a regular symbol. Get it to appear on the middle position from the 3rd reel, and you will find that it explodes and that reel becomes an expanded wild that has a 2x multiplier. In some cases, you will also find that the reel locks into place, so you benefit from it during the next spin as well. The lock of the wild reel is given at random.

The Drill is a symbol that has scatter abilities. Its presence on the reel has to be in at least three symbols, and if that happens you can get a prize out of it. Depending on the number of Drill scatters present, the prize goes from 150x the line bet (3 symbols), to 300x (4 symbols) and 750x (5 symbols).

Glass Cutter Feature

The picture with the professional Glass Cutter will get you the bonus round with the same name. You need the three symbols on the same active line to activate the bonus game. With 3+ symbols present, you will get access to the bonus game and you will have to choose one of those glass cutters. The selection will result in an instant prize being awarded, consisting either in a cash prize, bonus round access or free spins. The free games all come with 2x multipliers.

Bonus Round

The Vault, the ultimate target for these robbers, will serve as the trigger for the bonus round, but it will not do so as a scatter. This is a regular symbol that you need to appear on the same payline a minimum of three times. If that happens, you get the bonus round and you get to take part in the actual bank robbery. You are Neil, one of the main characters, and you pick the method you prefer for getting inside that vault. Next, you try to run away before Detective Kowalski catches you.

Betting options and jackpots

Heist requires a minimum bet of only one coin, but it’s a good idea to select all the paylines and use at least 30 coins per spin. You can take that number up to 5 coins per line, or 150 coins total. As for the actual value of the wager, with coins ranging from $0.02 to $1, it can reach up to $150.

A 500x multiple of the line bet is what you’re going to be offered by the game, from its best combination of symbols. That means up to $2,500 cash for you, with a chance of doubling that amount through the 2x multipliers available in the game.

Design and symbols

The design is very good, as you would expect from a BetSoft 3D Slot. It’s also a modern design, with the action set during our time period. You see modern tools and explosives everywhere, men with handguns and shotguns, plus huge doors and stacks of British Pounds being stolen. The betting system looks like it’s part of a console, with the Spin button being big and red, ready to set off an explosion.

Symbols: Glass Cutter (bonus), C4 (wild reel), Drill (scatter, 750x), Vault (bonus), Neil the Robber (500x), Robber with shotgun (400x), Diamond (300x), Currency (250x), Bag with money (200x), Handgun (150x), Vault plans (100x), Vault Keypad (75x) and Chronometer (50x).

Is It Worth Playing?

You will find plenty of robbery themed slot machines out there, but I’d have to say that Heist is one of my favorites. It’s got the design and the features inside that will make you want to spend a lot of time on it.

You will find Heist at any online casino which chooses to use software from BetSoft, playable either for free or for real money.
