Irish Online Game Operator BetBright Enters Into New Deal With Cheltenham Racecourse

The online Irish operator BetBright has entered in to a deal with Cheltenham Racecourse to provide sponsorship for 4 races which will take place at the famed UK racecourse on New Year’s Day.

BetBright will be contributing a total of £122,000 in sponsorship prize money for the 4 races, which will include the Grade 3 feature race, as well as a Grade 2 race, and 2 other races, with the full details of all events to be released shortly.

The announcement comes as the first of many initiatives that the Irish online gaming operator is planning for the first few months of 2015.

Comment From BetBright

Marketing Director of BetBright, Brian Farrell, made mention of the company’s delight in partnering with Cheltenham Racecourse, which they consider to be a fine facility, and also of BetBright’s desire to put something back in to the industry which they are very much engaged with, and reward the followers of horse racing with a number of associated promotions.

This sponsorship deal comes on the back of a record increase in customers and deposits for BetBright for 2014, with much of that activity put down to the horse racing industry and those that follow it.

Accordingly, BetBright is looking to increase their engagement with horse racing fans and authorities in the upcoming year.

Comment From Cheltenham Racecourse

Spokesperson Carey Buckler, who represents Jockey Club Racecourses South West, which includes Cheltenham Racecourse, welcomed BetBright aboard and thanked them for the new engagement and sponsorship, and the backing of the New Year’s Day event to be held at Cheltenham.

The Jockey Club is pleased that the first racing day of the 2015 calendar has already secured some high profile sponsorship, and looks forward to on-going interaction with the Irish operator BetBright.
