LeoVegas Casino Joins Up To PlayTech’s POP Platform

The online gaming giant PlayTech, which has its headquarters located in the Isle of Man, has announced that the online casino operator LeoVegas, who are a Malta-licensed operation, will be partnering with them and joining their Open Platform (POP) casino game content delivery and management system.

The new deal will see LeoVegas join other online entities such as of bet365, Gala Coral and Ladbrokes in having access to a vast array of content which is hosted within the POP system.

LeoVegas will initially receive 8 desktop and 5 mobile titles from PlayTech’s POP, which include Bounty and the Beanstalk, Heart of the Jungle and Wild Gambler, which will be delivered to the online casino operator courtesy of the catalogue of PlayTech subsidiary Ash Gaming.

PlayTech’s POP Platform

PlayTech’s POP platform allows its users an integration solution from which they can operate along with access to over 500 online casino gaming titles, which come from both PlayTech’s own team of developers as well as over 20 third-party game developers and providers.

Reflecting current industry trends, the POP platform is increasingly taking on a specific mobile gaming first approach, with 70 plus mobile titles currently on offer with another 70 planned to be added as soon as they become available.

Other improvements planned for the POP platform this year include expanding the range of HTML5 developed games to be available to clients and customers as well as enhanced desktop platform support.

This latest partnership for PlayTech’s POP sees it continue to be in an industry leader in its field, with further commercial arrangements with a number of UK based and International firms expected to be confirmed in the coming months.

Steve Schrier, who acts in the position of the Vice President of Sales at PlayTech, has welcomed LeoVegas aboard to the POP system, which he says is currently enjoying its finest 12 months since it inception.

Mr Schrier is also belief that the next 12 months will be even more successful for PlayTech and their POP platform, with more customers and more online casino game titles expected to be integrated with the platform throughout 2015.
