Reel Grand Prix is one of those games that you don’t expect much of at first, especially since it has so few lines on the standard 5 reels that most developers do a lot more with. Features of Reel Grand Prix
The list with options and features at your disposal includes stacked icons, bonus icons, wilds and a bonus game with some multiplier attached.
One of the things to keep in mind about this game is that it uses Mini Numbers from time to time. These are very small numbers which show up in the corner of some of the symbols that appear on the reels. In order to get paid by them, certain numbers have to align on a payline. The numbers have to go from 1 to 5, starting from the left and going towards the right side of the line.
If you notice the Wild Card Logo on the reels, you should know that it’s the wild feature of Reel Grand Prix. The role of a wild in this case is just to be the substituting icon, if it happens to be in the right position to lend a hand. It doesn’t work with bonus symbols or with mini numbers.
Level-Up Bonus
This particular feature is activated when the Bonus icon appears on a payline, from left to the right side, at least three times. This is not a scatter symbol, so it needs to form a combo like any other symbol. Only the outcome is different, activating the bonus game instead of giving you a cash prize.
The feature will scramble the symbols with Level Up and Multiplier values on them, after which it will cover them. You start off from the lowest level, picking one of the squares. You can get a multiplier to be used for the prize, or you can find a Level-Up message which takes you to the next row. Ideally, you would find multiple multiplier values at each row, before getting the level-up icon. Each new row you reach will have better multipliers.
Betting options and jackpots
Since you don’t have that many paylines to work with, the bets can’t go very high, using 5 coins at most and covering all the lines that way. For each coin, the bet can use a denomination in the range of $0.01 to $10. If you decide to max out the bet in each section, you can spend up to $50 for one spin.
The slot’s highest rewards will give you 3,000 coins, using the Mini Numbers feature. The actual value of the prize will go as high as $30,000.
Design and symbols
The Formula 1 racing connection is easy to see here. There are images with these high performance cars and of the racing track all around the reel area. On those reels, which look like they are encased in some sort of screen with a red border around it, you will find symbols which are also themed around the world of Formula 1.
