Captain’s Treasure Slots

Captain's-TreasureCaptain’s Treasure is a pirate themed slot, with hidden treasures being at the center of the action. It was designed by Playtech and it’s not a terribly original slot machine, the captain pirate being present in more games than I can remember. It’s not the best looking title out there either, it doesn’t have a lot of features, but it at least offers a progressive jackpot inside. It’s a bit older looking, so not a recent title, but it’s not a bad choice all things considered.

In Captain’s Treasure, the 5 reels available get up to 15 symbols, with 9 paylines hosting them all. It has a $25,000 jackpot on the line, while the feature list is rather short, with only scatter symbols and wilds part of it.

Features of Captain’s Treasure

There are only two basic features provided in Captain’s Treasure. One of them is the wild, the other a scatter symbol.

To start with, we have the wild symbol. It’s represented by the Pirate Captain (Blackbeard) and its only job here is to help you create more winning combinations. It will not pay you on its own, it doesn’t create combinations directly, but at least you have him as a helper as you play the game. The only symbol not influenced by Blackbeard is the scatter.

As for the scatter symbol, it’s another part of the game that is special and useful. The Treasure Chest gets this role and it’s a fitting image for a symbol that can give you prizes of up to 100x the value of the bet from that round. It might mean only $4,500 total, but that’s not a bad prize, even though it’s not life changing. As you probably know already, the scatter offers these prizes from whatever position the symbols appear in, so they don’t need to combine on the same payline.

Betting options and jackpots

The coin betting range starts at $0.01 and goes up to $5. Each line gets only one coin, so the wagers will go up to $45, with 9 coins used per spin.

The big reward offered in this game is the equivalent of 5,000 coins, meaning a top jackpot of $25,000 that you can win if you spin its reels with the maximum bet.

Design and symbols

The design is both dated and decent looking, at the same time. It might not be the most modern slot machine you’ve seen, a lot of pirate slots look much better than it does, but that doesn’t make it a bad choice. Its symbols are placed on top of squares of paper that look like coasters, with most of them being playing cards, while a decent portion is the kind that is themed around pirate life.

Symbols: Captain Blackbeard (wild), Treasure Chest (scatter, 100x the bet), Swords (5,000x), Treasure Map (2,500x), Anchor (1,000x), Ship Helm (1,000x), Ace (500x), King (300x), Queen (200x), Jack (200x), Ten (100x) and Nine (100x).

Is It Worth Playing?

It’s not a very complicated game, you shouldn’t have any problems following it and using it. If you prefer modern games, this one is a bit more on the classic side, so you might not enjoy it as much. Other than that, it’s a decent title from Playtech, one you shouldn’t be avoiding.

Captain’s Treasure can be found at any Playtech casino, where you get a chance to play it for real money or in free mode.
