Lotto Madness Slots

Lotto-MadnessIn Lotto Madness, the player gets a Playtech slot machine, the theme being focused on the lottery and around huge prizes that you could win with its help. The lottery balls are part of the design, a big part of it actually. The lottery is responsible for making hundreds of millionaires every year, if you take into account all the countries and states that organize it. The game you get here is not terribly advanced, it appears to be one of the older slot machines from Playtech, but for someone that loves to gamble, there aren’t that many slots out there on this subject.

The game might be special with its theme, but the layout is a typical one, combining 5 reels with 20 bet lines. The bonus game, a scatter symbol and a wild are all the features it puts forward, with the progressive jackpot from Dollar Ball being an attraction point, though its own $100,000 look better.

Features of Lotto Madness

The wildcard is one of the major features of Lotto Madness, together with the bonus symbols and their game, the scatter symbol and the progressive jackpot Dollar Ball feature.

The wildcard shows you the lottery card, filled out with numbers, some of them already marked off. The wildcard is the same thing as a wild symbol, but the name of the feature was changed a bit by Playtech. It is the same symbol that is capable of taking over for other symbols, when this kind of substitution results in new winning combinations. The wild is also the one that can create its own combinations and it can even give away the top jackpot, an impressive 10,000x the line wager.

The Dollar Sign scatter is generally a profitable symbol in any game where it appears, and it’s the case here as well, but its top prizes are disappointing. They can award up to 50x the triggering bet, with other slots going well above 100x for their top scatter payouts.

Crazy Wheel Bonus Game

The final feature is the bonus game, which needs the Bonus symbol on the 1st and 5th reels, during the same round. You spin a wheel in this bonus game, after which you get a prize based on the result. If you don’t like the first prize, you can choose to spin the wheel again.

Betting options and jackpots

You get 20 bet lines total, though you can select fewer if you want to. You can use up to 10 coins for each bet line, the denomination range being $0.01 – $1. The $10 line bet turns into $200 total, if you can afford to wager that much.

A 10,000x top prize is on the line, enough to put up to $100,000 in your pocket. An alternative is the Dollar Ball progressive jackpot, for which you have to wager an extra $1 per spin.

Design and symbols

The design is heavily inspired by the lottery game, but the style in which it was created is an older one, which doesn’t inspire people to play it, unless they really believe that it will be a profitable endeavor. Most of the symbols are the balls of the lottery, with numbers on them. You only get the balls from 6 to 10, with the other symbols being money related mostly.

Symbols: Lotto Card (wild, 10,000x), Crazy Wheel (bonus), Dollar Sign (scatter, 50x the bet), Dollar Bills (1,000x), Champagne (500x), Lotto Player (400x), Ball 6 (300x), Ball 7 (250x), Ball 8 (200x), Ball 9 (150x) and Ball 10 (100x).

Is It Worth Playing?

You will love it if you’re a lottery player yourself, or if you’re simply after that $100,000 top prize. Both its features and its graphics are not quite as good as I would’ve wanted though, so I for one will pass on it.

Lotto Madness can be found at any Playtech casino, where you get a chance to play it for real money or in free mode.
