Frontside Spins Slots

Frontside-SpinsFrontside Spin is a snowboarding and winter sports themed game, with the main characters in it being various Polar wild creatures. The term frontside is something used in snowboarding, to describe a certain stance. Saucify is the creator of this slot machine, which has an unusual looking design, with the characters looking like they’re taken from video games released about a decade ago. It’s far from an appealing looking game, but let’s see first how the features are doing before we dismiss it.

The game feels like an older title, an impression that the 5 reels with 9 lines on them will confirm. The game has the usual free spins, multipliers, scatters and wilds though, so you’re not missing much there. Top payouts will offer you $9,375.

Features of Frontside Spins

To take advantage of the features in Frontside Spins, you would need to land wild or scatter symbols. These will bring you multipliers, free spins and even bonus games.

Thaw the Polar Bear is the only wild symbol which the game offers you access to. It can be a valuable addition to any payline, being able to substitute for other symbols, helping them get their own combinations formed. When it does manage to assist you this way, it also applies its own 2x multiplier to the win, doubling its value. Getting multiple wilds together on a line is even better though, as this can bring you payouts as high as 7,500x, which is the best that the game has to offer.

Free Games Feature

The Snowman would be the scatter symbol, and as such it is capable of getting the slot’s free spins started. Twiggy the Snowman is its name, and the presence of this icon in 3 to 5 positions will land you 10 free spins with tripled prizes.

Retriggering the free spins is done with the same 3+ scatters and you get an extra 10 free spins from them.

Betting options and jackpots

If you choose to cover all 9 lines with the largest bets possible, you will spend up to $1.25 on each one, for a total of $11.25. The line bet is composed of up to 5 coins, with values from $0.01 to $0.25 for each one.

The game gives away 7,500x the line bet in prizes, which will mean 37,500 coins. The actual cash value will be up to $9,375.

Design and symbols

I’m definitely not a fan of the design which Frontside Spins makes use of. Everything looks like a screenshot from a badly designed video game, with characters that don’t have enough details in their drawings. I’ve seen it plenty of times in older video games, and I wasn’t a fan of the look then either. Those that enjoy winter sports might want to try it anyway, but if you like playing beautiful slots, this isn’t one of them.

Is It Worth Playing?

While the winter sports and polar animals are stars in it, the game doesn’t do very well with its graphics, and I suggest you try it out only if you don’t have a problem with low quality graphics.

The Frontside Spins slot machine is offered through the Saucify/BetOnSoft platform, so if you want to play it for real or just to practice, look out for casinos that use it.
