Fat Cat Slots

Fat-CatFat Cat is a Wager Gaming slot machine. The title refers to the main character, an actual fat cat that is also quite rich by the looks of it. He has gold and cash, money bags and dog butlers, all of them present on the reels, plus there is the usual pretty cat to go along. The cartoon style design in use in this case makes perfect sense, and it does give you the impression that it’s part of some TV series designed with kids in mind.

This is an average game in a lot of ways, the best example being the mix of 5 reels and 20 bet lines. It also has typical features for a modern slot machine, with a bonus game, a scatter symbol and a wild. The top prize is not quite worthy of the riches advertised by its graphics though, valued at only $25,000.

Features of Fat Cat

Though it’s missing the free spins which are so common in Wager Gaming slot machines, Fat Cat does include a bonus game instead, which has more than generous prizes. The other two features are a scatter symbol and a wild.

Fat Cat is a purple feline with a lot of gold jewelry hanging around his neck. He’s also the wild feature in this game, the only symbol that can be part of combinations with others that aren’t the same as it is. The wild does this by substituting and taking the same role as one of the other regular symbols that are on the same payline, being able to complete a combination in a style similar to a Joker card. It doesn’t substitute for a Dollar Sign scatter though, only for the regular symbols. It does another thing that the wild is known for though, offering the top jackpot, which in this case is valued at 5,000 coins.

The Golden Dollar Sign is the image you’re going to see when you look at the scatter symbol. It also awards some prizes, and they can be quite good, but it’s also the symbol responsible for triggering a bonus game, the only one of the slot. The payouts multiply the total bet instead of using the line bet, and they go up to 100x.

Bonus Game

The slot’s bonus game is triggered the usual way, with a minimum of three scattered Dollar Signs, appearing on random reels and positions. The reward is a bonus game where you pick from among the 8 Dollar Signs shown on the screen. Each one gives you a prize, the highest possible amount being worth 1,000x the round’s bet. You go through all 8 choices, until all their prizes are shown.

Betting options and jackpots

For each coin you select for your bet, you can use a value in the $0.01 to $5 range. With 20 coins in the bet, you can get up to $100 for a single spin.

The wild symbol is going to award up to 5,000 coins for a combo formed only with its symbols, while their value goes up to $25,000. The bonus game advertises prizes of up to 1000x the bet, or $100,000.

Design and symbols

The game will remind you of certain animation series you might’ve watched as a kid, though it doesn’t follow any of them specifically. The hero is a Fat Cat, a rich guy, and on the reels you will find symbols of the things he can afford to buy, a dog acting as a butler being the most outrageous example. The background is a riches filled image, with mountains of cash and gold sitting out in the open, while helicopters and private jets are flying above.

Symbols: Fat Cat (5,000 coins, wild), Dollar Sign (scatter, 100x bet), Kitty Cat (2,000 coins), Butler (750 coins), Riches (500 coins), Money Bag (500 coins), Ace (250 coins), King (250 coins), Queen (200 coins), Jack (200 coins), Ten (100 coins) and Nine (100 coins).
