Monster Money Slots

Monster-MoneyMonster Money is a slot that was inspired by the story of Frankenstein. Wager Gaming is the creator of this particular slot machine, with a theme and a design that recommend it as a title that you should be going after whenever you’re in the mood for something scary, either at Halloween or at any other point during the year. You get all the elements from the story of Frankenstein, with things like the monster and a couple of the body parts that were used together, the electrical rod, Igor or the huge mansion where all this is taking place.

A 5 reels slot machine which gets up to 25 win lines for its players, Monster Money has a wild symbol, a scatter and a bonus game. A $50,000 jackpot is also present.

Features of Monster Money

Monster Money’s features consist in wild symbols, scatters and a bonus game. It replaces the free spins that so many Wager slots have with the bonus round, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing.

To start with, we have the Professor, a weird looking character with purple skin and orange hair. This is the wild feature in Monster Money and seems to represent both words from that title. The money part comes from the top jackpot, which only the Professor can award, the amount going up to 5,000 coins. Used as a wild, it will try and assist you with the formation of new combinations, the Professor being able to act as any other symbol as long as that gets you a prize. The only symbol that it doesn’t replace is the scattered Electrical Rod.

The Electrical Rod, which is used to bring life to the collection of body parts that the Professor put together, is the one that is used for the second symbol with a feature attached. This scatter symbol offers its own big prizes, the most being the 100x the bet that is obtained when you have five scatters present.

Bonus Game

The Electrical Rod is also the trigger for the slot’s only bonus game. You get access to it whenever 3+ symbols with scatter abilities are found on the reels, in random positions.

You enter the Haunted House and you pick 5 of the 8 doors available inside. Each one gets you a Monster or the Professor. The Monster brings with it a prize, while the Professor has a multiplier of 3x which applies to all the prizes obtained during this feature.

Betting options and jackpots

The game’s wagers go as high as $250, but that’s only the maximum amount, and you have the option to reduce it to just $0.01 if you want to. The coins that you use will be placed one per active line, with their value being between $0.01 and $10.

The 5,000x top payout offered inside is a bit lower than in other slots from this developer, but it’s quite good for the industry as a whole. $50,000 is the most it can be worth.

Design and symbols

The action in Monster Money takes place inside a castle dungeon, in the laboratory where the Professor works on creating his monster. You see him behind the reels, along with metallic bars which make the room look almost like a prison. The symbols show you characters, body parts or lab tools, and they are adequately designed, cartoon like and not that scary, but it’s still a game I’d recommend you try out next Halloween.

Symbols: Professor (5,000x, wild), Electrical Rod (100x wager, scatter), Mansion (2,000x), Assistant (1,500x), Man (400x), Brain (300x), Head (200x), Hand (200x), Foot (150x), Green Substance (150x), Equipment (100x) and Bolts (100x).

Is It Worth Playing?

It’s not a bad slot machine if you’re looking for something a bit creepy to play, and the story of Frankenstein is popular enough so you know what you’re getting yourself into. It’s not an extraordinary game though, nothing to be really impressed with.

The Monster Money slot machine is offered through the Wager Gaming platform, so if you want to play it for real or just to practice, look out for casinos that use it.
