Bally Technologies Slots

Bally Technologies is one of the oldest gaming corporations in the world. Very few of its rivals can say that they were busy designing pinball machines and slots back in the thirties. The company is based in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Bally Technologies’ slots, casino games, mobile and social products are currently produced by Bally Interactive. The company was late to foray into the real money online gambling industry.

Despite the fact that the first Bally slots were released in 2013, the company was able to use its massive land-based gaming experienced to its advantage by adapting some of its most popular titles to online casino setting.

Bally Technologies Online and Land-based Slots

Bally Technologies is still as focused on taking over the brick and mortar casino floors in the United States and Europe as ever and the company’s recent expansion into the online gambling industry shouldn’t be perceived as a major change of the overall policy.

The online slots released by Bally so far follow the latest industry trends and are 100% browser-based, which means that they don’t require the players to commit to a  download.

In addition, it is worth pointing out that Bally Technologies is focusing its iGaming-related efforts on the mobile segment of the market.

Bally Technologies Slot Game Reviews

Bally Technologies slots are fairly advanced when it comes to visuals and sound effects, but it’s the unique gameplay-related features that really separate them from the other five reel games.

The U-Spin technology introduces a 3D wheel which replicates the behavior of an authentic device, allowing the player to move and stop it by touching the screen.

The Command Center allows the casinos to configure the slots on the casino floor from a remote location. The DM Tournaments allows players to participate in dynamic slot tournaments, which are controlled via the Command Center.

Finally, the iView technology allows the casino staff to send direct text messages to specific players, which appear in a small window on the screen.

Reception by Players

Bally Technologies’ land-based games are extremely popular, which should come as no surprise since the company is one of the biggest suppliers of physical slot machines in the industry.

The online versions of Bally games certainly do benefit from the popularity of their land-based counterparts, but most experts agree that Bally simply didn’t have enough time to win the hearts and minds of the casino enthusiasts that focus on gambling online without visiting brick and mortar gaming establishments.

Most Popular Bally Technologies Slot Machines

The most popular slots released by Bally Technologies include Cash Spin, Cash Wizard, Betty Boop’s Fortune Teller, Love Meter, Money Wheel, Vegas Huts, Golden Pharaoh and Playboy Hot Zone.

All of those games do an excellent job when it comes to showcasing the power of the aforementioned Bally-specific features while simultaneously charming the players with amazing visuals and perfectly smooth, fast-paced gameplay.

If you enjoy social casino gaming and competing with the other players for a better position on the casino leaderboard, you should definitely consider giving a few of them a spin or two.

Company History

Bally was founded by Raymond Moloney under the name of Bally Manufacturing Company in 1932. The company produced its first pinball machine the same years and its first slot in 1936.

Bally switched to war-time production during World War II and returned to its usual fare in 1945. The company enjoyed tremendous success under Moloney’s guidance, but quickly became insolvent following his death in 1958.

In 1963, Bally was purchased and saved by one of Moloney’s friends, William O’Donnel. O’Donnel’s Bally pioneered three-reel electromechanical slots, which didn’t require a casino attendant to grant the winning players a payout.

Nevertheless, O’Donnel was essentially forced to step down as the company’s president after Bally’s Park Place Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City was refused a permanent New Jersey gambling license. After O’Donnel, Bally expanded into the video game industry while continuing to produce slot machines.

In 1994 the company released the first touch-screen slot in the world. Bally’s expansion into the iGaming market began in 2012 when the company started developing its RGS internet gambling platform and concluded in 2013, when the first Bally games appeared at the Mr. Green Casino.

Outlook and Latest Developments

Bally Technologies is often referred to as one of the most trustworthy companies in the land-based gambling industry, so there’s literally no reason to believe that anything can stop it from joining the ranks of premium online slot makers, such as Playtech, Microgamng or IGT.

The first release of Bally internet slots proved to be rather successful – and even though they aren’t available in many casinos right now, most industry experts expect more high profile sites to start offering Bally slots in the years to come.
