This is the second Reel in the Cash slot from Cryptologic, but as the name mentions, it’s the 20 line version and it’s a lot more sophisticated when it comes to features, it has better payouts and significantly more appealing graphics. Using bonus games, scatters and wilds as features is a good first step for the 20 line version of Reel in the Cash, a 5 reel game. However, it’s the $100,000 jackpot that makes us really want to take a look at this game. Cryptologic made it a lot more appealing than its predecessor, and yet it’s still about fishing.
Features of Reel in the Cash 20 Line
Besides being a lot better looking than its predecessor, Reel in the Cash 20 Line also has a few more features. The bonus game is still present, but now we have a wild symbol and a scatter as well that we can use.
A Golden Lure will act as the most important of the features provided inside, mostly because of the size of the prizes that are offered through it. Acting as a wild, Golden Lure will award the top jackpot when a combo is formed by its own symbols, while the rest of the time you can expect as usual to get more combinations with its help. It uses its substitution powers to achieve that, acting as another symbol when it’s on a payline where a combo could be formed with its assistance. The only symbol that doesn’t benefit from its powers is the scattered Fisherman.
The Fisherman, a guy that wants to catch some fish and which is out on the ocean in his little boat, will get more than he can handle, showing us how a huge swordfish is caught by him in the logo area. As for the role of the Fisherman, this is a scatter symbol, whose ability to award payouts from any position gives you a chance to win up to 100x the bet in prizes.
Fishing Follies
This is a bonus game, where you can get access if you have on the screen three scattered Fishermen. A total of three rounds are awarded. During each round of Fishing Follies, you get to pick the lure that will be used, and then you will cast it out to get a fish. You can win between 2x and 25x the bet from each catch you have, with the lure being the prize multiplier.
Betting options and jackpots
If you intend to use all 20 coins, in order to activate all paylines, the betting range goes from $0.20 to $400. The smallest denomination for a coin is $0.01, while the highest one is $20. You can use only one coin and one active line if you want to, so the absolute smallest amount possible is $0.01.
5,000 coins are on the line in this game, the value being as high as $100,000. It’s not going to be cheap, getting that kind of value out of 5,000 coins, but if you can afford it, it might be worth it.
Design and symbols
The theme remains the same as in the 5 line game, but the design has improved tremendously. The reels take a bigger part of the screen, plus you can see clear blue water behind them, instead of the metallic look that was previously there. The individual symbols also look a lot better, though some of them aren’t that realistic anymore. It’s especially the case with a few of the fish symbols, which are made to look like playing card icons.
