Savannah Sunrise is a gorgeous slot, one that follows the wildlife of Africa and puts it on your screen. With wonderfully designed symbols and wild animals inhabiting it, the game does a great job at sending the message across, about the beauty of this continent and what a safari there could be like. The orange color is predominant, but despite its heavy use, you will find that it does a great deal to enhance the design instead of overwhelming it. Savannah Sunrise will offer you enough in this area to keep you satisfied, but it’s not that special if you take only the features into account. With a rather limited wild, scatters and free spins, the game does OK in this area, but on its own it’s not going to be enough to convince you.
The majestic Lion, the king of the jungle, is in this case more like the king of the savannah. As a wild symbol, it will do its job of substituting for other symbols, but it can only do so from two reels, the 2nd and the 4th. It also doesn’t have any prizes to offer with its own combinations, and there aren’t multipliers attached either. Overall, it’s far from a perfect wild symbol, but I guess it’s better than not having it at all. The substitution powers of a wild don’t apply to a scatter symbol in this game.
The Tree scatter, alone in the middle of the savannah, as shown in this picture, gets you both free spins and prizes, so while other games have wilds in the most important feature role, the scatter is the one you want to get as often as possible here. Receiving multiple scatter symbols on the reels will give you an instant cash prize, and maybe even free games. The prizes start at two or more Tree scatters, the range being 2x to 100x, as a multiple of the total bet that triggered that round. Unfortunately, they have to appear starting from the Left.
Free Games Feature
The Tree scatter, the same one that will give you instant prizes, will also offer you 20 free spins. The requirement is for at least three Trees to be on the screen, and starting from the Left side of the screen. A good scatter feature would be able to do this without having to be present on consecutive reels, so while a better feature than the wild, the scatter is also quite limited in this game.

The equivalent of one coin is considered a line wager, its value taken into consideration when the prizes are calculated. Design and symbols
There is no question about it, the design is one of the best things about Savannah Sunrise. The designers managed to capture the beauty of a sunrise that takes place in the African savannah, something that you would otherwise have to experience for yourself, in a safari. The playing cards do have a negative effect, but they don’t look as bad as in other slots. Other than that, there are images of wild animals, all wonderfully drawn and a pleasure to look at.
