Games Developer Konami Releases First Online Slot – China Shores

The Las Vegas based games developer Konami Gaming has announced the details of its first ever online video slot which sees the famed gaming brand break new ground from their already extensive traditional slots holdings.

The new slot features a distinctly Chinese theme and is known as China Shores, and it bears resemblance to another slots title that is on the market – China River.

Konami Gaming

Konami Gaming is a subsidiary of the legendary Japanese games developer Konami Corporation, which was founded in 1973.

Konami Gaming’s Las Vegas operations are housed in at 120,000 square foot facility located in the famed gambling city, and the company services American, Asian, and European markets.

The name Konami has been synonymous with computer and video gaming across a number of platforms for many years, and a branch out from the land based casino products it is most well-known for offering has led them to the online sphere where this new game has been released.

Whether this new release is a dip of the toe in the online water for Konami Gaming or part of a larger offering expansion remains to be seen.

China Shores

China Shores is a 5 reel slot which features 30 paylines.

Staying with the Chinese theme the game has a number of related symbols on the reels, including lanterns and Far Eastern symbols, as well as the online slots favourites’ number 9 through to the Ace.

The games features Scatter symbols, Stacked symbols and Wild symbols to enhance the player’s enjoyment and experience while playing the slot.

The Scatter symbol comes in the form of a Yin and Yang, and varying amounts of these can reward players with Free Spins as well as the chance to implement a X 100 on the Line Bet amount.

The Stacked symbol has the effect of substituting various symbols on the reels to provide even more winning combinations.

The Wild symbol appears in the form of a Panda and intriguingly only appears on reels 2 to 5, and as per usual, can substitute itself to form a variety of new winning combinations.
