At The Movies Slots

At-The-MoviesAt The Movies is one of BetSoft’s 3D Slots, making this a must try game for the experience it offers, like every other title from this category. The theme in this case is movie related, with the various images found on the screen being taken from different animation movies. Watching a movie remains to this day one of the favorite ways to spend free time and have a bit of fun, for any hard working man/woman, so it’s great that movie themed slot machines manage to offer the same kind of high quality entertainment.

The game’s 5 reels play host to a total of 25 lines. Inside, the player will find payouts of up to $5,000, plus a range of features that allows it to compete with any other slot machine. I’m talking about wild symbols and scatters, of course, but it’s more than that. You also find inside free games and multipliers.

Features of At The Movies

The game’s features are not as extensive as in other 3D slots, but you still get all the major ones, and they didn’t dumb them down. The two major symbols are the wild and the scatter, and the former brings with it a multiplier, while the latter gets you the free spins.

The wild is an obvious major feature that we’ll talk about, using the Masks image, one of them crying, the other laughing. The wild symbol and its ability to substitute for regular symbols come in handy all the time, and you will discover that it can improve your mood and the result of a spin on a regular basis. It applies its own x2 multiplier to the payouts of the combinations formed with its assistance, so I actually prefer having a combo with at least one wild in it, instead of five matching symbols.

The other big symbol offered by the game would be the scatter, with the Projector being its image. This symbol offers you payouts if you have at least two of them present, but the prize remains fixed and doesn’t increase if you have more of them. On the other hand, getting more scatter symbols will mean access to free spins, with 8 to 20 rounds available to the player that has three to five Projectors.

Betting options and jackpots

You’re going to be able to place a bet of up to $62.50 per spin, using 125 coins at their highest setting ($0.50). The smallest setting allowed for one coin is at $0.02. Each of the 25 bet lines can get 1 to 5 coins, and you can also select fewer paylines if your strategy or budget requires it.

The game’s biggest payout is worth about 10,000 coins to you, with the actual cash value being $5,000 if you used the biggest coin available. It can double to $10,000 though, as long as a wild symbol contributes to the jackpot combination.

Design and symbols

The design is as beautiful as any other 3D slot from BetSoft. The action takes place on reels placed on the front end of the cinema, with the View Pays and Sound options being placed at the top and looking like announcements made by the movie theatre. The symbols appear to be images taken from movies, but I don’t recognize any of them, so they might not be based on real ones. You will notice that these movie related symbols have the shapes of playing cards, though it’s subtle.

Symbols: Masks (wild), Projector (50x the bet, scatter), Oscar (1,000x), Popcorn (500x), Magazine (200x), Ace Theatre (100x), King Character (80x), Queen Jaws (60x), Jack Drone (40x) and 10 Heart (20x).

Is It Worth Playing?

At The Movies doesn’t offer you the same amount of features as other 3D slots designed by BetSoft, but it has a good theme and design, decent payouts and it’s as fun as any of the others.

At The Movies can be found at any BetSoft casino, where you get a chance to play it for real money or in free mode.
