I have to say, the Genie that comes out of the lamp and the magical atmosphere of the story of Aladdin has inspired a lot of developers to offer slots with this theme, but many of them don’t have the same quality graphics as this particular title. Though not original, you do get all the major characters from the story, including Aladdin, Jasmine and the Genie.
In Magic Carpet, there are 5 reels total, plus up to 9 paylines selectable on them. The features combine all the usual symbols and bonuses, so you get wilds substituting and scatters triggering bonus rounds with free spins with multipliers. As for the biggest prizes, they can get up to $20,000.
Features of Magic Carpet
You will find Magic Carpet to be a generous slot machine, with all sorts of good features along for the ride. Though it doesn’t get original at any point, there are only well known features in it, it does have a lot of different ones, including bonus features, free games, multipliers, scatters and wilds. I also enjoyed the fact that the combinations formed in this game can start from the Right side as well, not just from the Left.
Out of the two big symbols of Magic Carpet, the least important one would be the Genie wild. Though in other games you can expect the wild to be the best symbol, it’s not the case here. Getting a wild symbol is possible on three reels out of the five available, so it will only make appearances on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th. From that position, the wild substitutes for regular symbols, the scatter not being among them. You also don’t get any kind of prizes from the wild.
The Magic Carpet symbol, the one that the title refers to, is a lot more fun to get. It both offers cash prizes and access to the bonus feature. With two to five Magic Carpets, on any position on the reels, but appearing either starting from the Right or the Left, you can win as much as 150 times your initial wager for that round.
Free Games Feature
The same Magic Carpet scatter is going to be the trigger for the free games feature. Three symbols will result in a round of 5 free spins, while four scatters will get you 10 free spins and five scatters will award 15 spins. All free spins get a 3x multiplier, which triples their payouts.
The 5 to 15 free spins can be retriggered, the requirement being the same one, getting 3 to 5 scatters starting from the Left or the Right.

Design and symbols
This is one of the better looking games with a Genie and Aladdin inspired theme, and it’s especially because of the symbols and their quality that I am able to say this. There isn’t much of a background picture otherwise, just a dark blue and black image with a couple of stars drawn on it. The better graphics are the ones provided in the form of symbols, each one drawn in great detail and in a cartoon style that fits the theme very well.

Is It Worth Playing?
There are a few things that recommend this game, among them being the wealth of features (though basic ones) and the fact that the combinations pay both starting from the Left and the Right. There is even a chance to triple the top jackpot’s value, though it’s quite small, so overall I’d recommend this slot if you enjoy the theme choice.
