Call Of Fruity Slots

Call-of-FruityCall of Fruity is indeed a fruit themed slot machine, but it’s also inspired by the video games from the Call of Duty series. The fruits that act as the main characters in this game are all fruits, with helmets on their heads, with eyes and with the colors that they would have in their natural state. There are other elements as well that give you the impression that it’s a military game, like the green camo background, the airplanes or the pineapple with a grenade pin attached to it. This is one of the slots delivered by IGT.

The game doesn’t give you a lot of paylines, only 10 being used, so the 5 reels are not used at their maximum capacity. Multiple bonus games are offered with the help of scatter symbols, and then you get a wild symbol as well. $25,000 can be won in Call of Fruity.

Features of Call Of Fruity

There are multiple bonus games in Call of Fruity, each one having its own bonus symbol to trigger it. There is also a wild symbol, a common choice for a feature from a modern title.

The Medal symbol was selected to act as the wild, but that’s not the only thing that it can do for you. This is also the symbol that can create a combo directly and which awards the slot’s highest payouts of up to 500x. While used as a wild, you should only expect its help when it lands in the exact spot where another symbol is needed, a new combo being formed as a result of the substitution.

Pick Me Bonus

The first of the bonus features is called Pick Me and it requires the presence of three scattered Pineapple Grenades on the reels 1, 3 and 5. These have to be there at the same time, but they can be scattered, so it doesn’t matter what their exact position is.

You have to choose one of the symbols next, to find out if you get a multiplier or access to the next level of the bonus feature, which is called Bombsight. If the multiplier is the one that comes in, the reward is that number applied to the triggering bet.

Bombsight Bonus

This particular feature can only be started from within the Pick Me bonus game, so you don’t get it in the base game. Once the game starts, you have to choose a bunker.

The bunkers hide multiplier values. The values that you get are removed from the slot’s top area, and you keep picking until only one remains there. That’s the value of the multiplier which will be used together with the total bet of the round.

The game also has three offers for you, and you can take them over the ones that are offered by the bonus game.

Fly-By Bonus

Started with the help of Green Plane bonus symbols which can show up on the centre three reels, you need three of them at the same time, in scattered positions.

Next, the three reels in the middle become wild and they lock in place. The first and the fifth reels will spin once after that, with guaranteed wins coming, having four or five symbols in each combo.

Betting options and jackpots

The only option available to players is to change the stake per line. The minimum is at $0.01, with the maximum being $50. Since 10 lines are used, the wager varies between $0.10 and $500 per round.

The wild symbol, when forming its own combo of five icons, will pay you 500 times the line stake, which means up to $25,000 cash if $50 coins were selected.

Design and symbols

The game isn’t that attractive, at least I’m not a fan of the watermelon turned soldier, but the idea isn’t bad. There is camouflage behind the game area, the Spin button takes the form of a radar that keeps scanning for airplanes, and there is barbed wire and metal everywhere. The fruits are too simplistic for my tastes though and they seem to clash with the rest of the design.

Symbols: Gold Medal (wild, 500 coins), Pineapple Grenade (scatter), Plane (scatter), Call of Fruity Logo (250 coins), Watermelon Soldier (150 coins), Lemon Soldier (150 coins), Strawberry Soldier (100 coins), Ace (100 coins) and King (100 coins).

Is It Worth Playing?

The theme is an interesting one, and the CoD connection is one that I enjoyed seeing, but I’m not a fan of the actual design. I’d still recommend you try the game out though.

Call Of Fruity can be found at any IGT casino, where you get a chance to play it for real money or in free mode.
