Isis is one of the few slot machines that have approached the Ancient Egypt topic so far, and which have decided to take a slightly different theme and make it their own. The focus is on Isis in this case, instead on being about the Egyptians in general, or about Cleopatra. The Isis mentioned in this game is the name of an Egyptian goddess, considered to be the patron of magic and nature, the ideal wife and mother, a woman that was wise and which governed marriage and health. Among her many other roles, she was also the children’s goddess and the one that protected the dead.
The number of paylines available in Isis goes up to 25, the game being a rather normal 5 reel slot machine in most ways. Even the features are the ones that you expect to get in such slots, including wilds, scatters and free spins with some very cool multipliers (6x). $37,500 is the maximum value of the jackpot during the base game.
Features of Isis
Among the features that are offered in Isis, you will discover the wild that is capable of doubling prizes it helps form, the scatter symbol that can be incredibly generous, the free spins and their multipliers.
Isis, a beautiful goddess image being used for it, will appear often enough in the game, and it can be useful in a couple of ways. First of all, as a wild symbol it will substitute for other symbols, as long as the requirements are met. The wild has to appear in the exact position where another regular symbol is needed, in order for the combo to be completed. If it appears in a different spot on the same line, it will not be of any use (for example, if it’s needed in the third position on the line, but it appears on the fourth or fifth one). If it does manage to assist, it will double the prize of that combo it contributed to.
The wild is also capable of creating its own combinations, but for that to happen you need a minimum of two Isis icons going from left to right, on the same line. You can get paid up to 10,000x by the wild, if you get all five icons on the same active line.
The scatter symbol has an eagle on it, which is supposed to represent Horus, another god in the Egyptian Pantheon. Isis was supposedly his mother, so the presence of the eagle in the scatter of the game is a logical choice. This scatter symbol gives out some very generous prizes, reaching top values of 600 times the bet when up to five are present. The scatter role means that it doesn’t have to be on a certain line, it only has to be in sufficient locations at the same time.
Free Games Feature
The Eagle symbol is the one that is also responsible for triggering free spins. All free spins have 6x multipliers for their wins.
You get 20 spins when there are three Eagle scatters present, 25 when there are four, and the maximum of 30 spins when all five are on the reels. You can also re-trigger this feature, provided that 3+ Eagles once again appear at the same time.

Design and symbols
Though the theme choice is quite good, using a specific Egyptian goddess, instead of simply relying on Ancient Egypt, the implementation doesn’t manage to bring you the kind of graphics that would make it stand out in this market. It’s one of the many slot machines that use Egypt as their theme, so it would have to look great in order to be above average. It’s not the case here, even though it’s not a bad looking slot. It’s just typical for this kind of game, with Egyptian symbols and playing cards, and with the yellow of the desert used in more than a couple of spots.

I couldn’t recommend this game over all the other Egyptian themed slots, but it is different in a couple of ways, and the Isis approach I enjoyed seeing, along with the 6x multipliers of the free spins.
