Big Bang Slots

Big-BangBig Bang is one of the slot machines designed by Net Entertainment that has a science or space related theme, in this case the action dealing mostly with the event that brought on the creation of our universe. The actual design used here has mostly planets of different kinds as symbols, with the playing cards using the light of differently colored stars behind them. The image shown behind the reels is a gorgeous view of space and the universe. As Net Entertainment has gotten us used to, it’s a great looking slot machine, with the graphics being one of its biggest advantages.

Big Bang’s 5 reels and 20 paylines will look great to you when you see the multipliers that it can offer you, along with the obligatory wild symbol. It doesn’t have much in the way of features otherwise, but at least you can win up to $64,000 by playing it.

Features of Big Bang

The multiplier ladder of Big Bang is its best feature as far as I’m concerned, but there are also things like wild symbols hanging around, ready to help out when they can.

The Multiplier Meter goes from 1x to 32x, always visible on the left side of the reels. In order to advance on the ladder and get better paying combinations, you need to have consecutive spins with winning combinations in them. The first win gives you the base price, but you advance to 2x for the second spin, so you get double the payout if you get another winning combo. With each consecutive win, you advance on the meter, going to 4x, 8x, 16x and finally to 32x. Getting up to 32x the usual prizes is a great feature to have in any game, even if the payouts were probably shrunk to account for the presence of this multiplier.

The other feature would be the wild symbol, a very basic one, which substitutes for all the other symbols, no exceptions. Its help will get you more winning combinations in the long run, which is always great when you consider the multipliers that come with having lots of winning combinations in consecutive spins.

Betting options and jackpots

The bets placed in Big Bang have a couple of different components, starting with the number of active lines, the level of the bet (coins per line) and the denomination. The lines are up to 25 total, the coins per line go up to 4, while the denomination goes up to $0.50. The $2 line wagers translate into bets of up to $50.

Normally, the best you can expect is a prize worth 1,000x, or up to 4,000 coins ($2,000). The Multiplier Meter changes things considerably if you’re lucky enough to take advantage of it, so the jackpot can be worth up to 32 times more, or up to $64,000.

Design and symbols

A modern design, with lots of planets, stars and space related objects, Big Bang manages to look great and I’d have no problem taking a screenshot of it and placing it as a desktop wallpaper, if it weren’t for the mood killing playing cards. These cards are themed somewhat though, so they’re not nearly as bad as they are in other slot machines. The left side holds the Multiplier Meter, one of the more interesting parts about this game.

Is It Worth Playing?

It’s a game fit for any fan of space or science fiction, a beautiful game that you will enjoy playing. Its multipliers of up to 32 make it a lot more interesting than it might seem at a quick glance, and its payouts can get very good with their help.

The Big Bang slot machine is offered through the Net Entertainment platform, so if you want to play it for real or just to practice, look out for casinos that use it.
