South Park Slots

South-ParkSouth Park is a name that doesn’t need much of an introduction, as I’m sure everyone knows who they are at least, even if they don’t watch the series. In this case, the license to build a game based on this animated TV series was obtained by Net Entertainment. They chose to create a slot that looks just like the TV series, so they just borrowed some of the characters that appear in it and placed them in a familiar setting. As a fan of the South Park series, you will have no problem recognizing the game for what it is, a tribute to one of the greatest animation series of all times.

South Park’s 25 lines are arranged on a total of 5 reels, making this an average game in that regard. It was created by Net Ent and it offers free spins, multiple bonus games, multipliers and wilds. The top payouts will get you only up to $7,500 in the base game, but some of the bonus games can be more profitable.

Features of South Park

There are mostly wild symbols, scatters and bonus games in South Park, but that should be enough to keep you busy. Each character brings along its own bonus game, so there are a lot of features to experience overall.

First, we have the wild symbols. These appear on the main game’s reels and during the bonus spins from the Kyle feature. They can’t replace a bonus symbol, but they will do so for any of the others. They don’t give you multipliers and they don’t form their own combinations either.

A total of four bonus games can be triggered in South Park. In each case, you need two Bonus symbols to appear on the 3rd and 4th reels, the only ones where they can show up, while on the 5th reel there is one of the four character symbols. Depending on the character that appears, you get one of the four bonus games or bonus spins.

Kyle Bonus Spins

This bonus feature consists in 10 free spins, which you win whenever Ike is on the 5th reel, with two bonus symbols on the 3rd and 4th reels. You also get a bonus feature out of it, chosen by Ike as he jumps on one of the tiles located underneath the reels. You can get a multiplier of x2 or x10, if one of those two tiles is the one chosen by Ike, or you can get an extra number of free spins (an extra 3 can be won) or a bonus prize (50x to 500x the bet).

Kenny Bonus Game

When Kenny is the one triggering a bonus game, you get his own feature to trigger. Inside, you are asked to guide Kenny, taking him through the danger zones, the multiplier and the win zones. You can get paid both during the win and the danger zones, but the latter also has one trap in it. The multiplier zone will have only multipliers.

Cartman Bonus Game

You have a number of bushes with question marks on them, out of which you have to pick and get one of four results. You can get a prize, a multiplier of x2, a reset or the game can end. The most you can take home is 5,000x the bet.

Stan Bonus Spins

This feature will bring you a sticky wild, which will stay in place on the middle position of the 3rd reel, for the next two spins. Additional sticky wilds can appear, in any other position, and they will also remain on the screen for 2 spins. You can keep getting free spins, for as long as there are sticky wilds on the screen.

Terrance and Phillip Mini Feature

A randomly triggered feature, it will give you three wilds on the middle three reels. These wilds can be linked either in diagonal or vertical mode and they will do the usual job of substituting for other symbols, nothing more.

Mr. Hankey Mini Feature

Yet another randomly triggered feature, Mr. Hankey gives you 3 to 5 wild symbols. The initial three wilds are going to be placed on the 1st, 3rd and 5th reels, with a chance to get an additional 1 or 2 wilds after that. This might only last for one round, but it’s going to be a profitable experience with so many wild symbols on the reels simultaneously.

Cartman Mini Feature

Activated at random, Cartman Mini Feature will give you 3, 6 or 9 wild symbols at the same time. They will appear on the three reels in the middle, substituting for any symbol, with the exception of the bonus icons. It can be an incredibly profitable feature, especially if you get all 9 wilds, which would guarantee you four symbol combinations on all the paylines.

Betting options and jackpots

The betting system allows you to wager anywhere between $0.01 and $250 per spin. The lowest coin denomination is at $0.01, which will give you only one active payline. You are allowed to use up to 10 coins for each line, for a total of 250 coins in the maximum bet. You can also increase the denomination up to $1, so the largest bet available is worth $250.

As for the slot’s prizes, if the multipliers from the bonus games don’t get involved, you can win up to 750x back, as a multiplier used together with the line bet. That means a top payout of $7,500.

Design and symbols

The design of South Park is taken directly from the TV series. There is no difference between the characters found in the slot and those that are the real deal. It shows that the slot was built under an official license and it will be a pleasure to experience if you are a fan. A winter setting is placed behind the reels, with snow capped mountains and fir trees, also a familiar sight if you’ve been watching the show. There are both characters and playing cards on the reels of South Park.

Symbols: Wild Logo (wild), Bonus Logo (bonus), Cartman (750x), Kenny (400x), Kyle (300x), Stan (200x), Ace (125x), King (100x), Queen (75x) and Jack (50x).

Is It Worth Playing?

South Park is the perfect slot machine for the fan of the TV series and it manages to bring a wealth of features on your screen, making it one of the more fun titles I’ve seen lately. You just don’t get a chance to get bored while playing it.

South Park, the Animated Series

Though it’s an animated series, South Park was created for adults, with the kind of comedy and language that parents might not want their kids to hear. It uses shock in a lot of situations, which proves to be funny, along with satire, the result being a highly entertaining series that has managed to become one of the animation series that has run the longest in the US. The four characters that are the stars of the show are called Cartman, Kenny, Stan and Kyle.

It has reached the 18th season up to this point, with 257 episodes aired so far. There is no end in sight so far, the series is still wildly popular and it manages to win awards all the time. It’s been running since 1997.

The South Park slot machine is offered through the Net Entertainment platform, so if you want to play it for real or just to practice, look out for casinos that use it.
