Emperor’s Garden Slots

Emperor's-GardenDesigned by the guys from NextGen Gaming, Emperor’s Garden is a slot machine with a very Chinese influence, the theme being unmistakable once you take a look at the symbols which appear on its reels. It’s a notch above the rest of the Chinese games though, and once again it’s the design that will make you say the same. There are a lot of such games, with an influence from this culture, so it’s not easy getting one to be better than most of the rest.

The game gives you 5 reels with 25 lines to play on. There are scatter symbols inside, along with free spins, multipliers and wilds. You also have top payouts of $10,000 that you can win with a bit of luck.

Features of Emperor’s Garden

Among the slot’s features you will find that there are expanding wilds, along with scatters, free spins and tripled prizes.

First, let’s take a look at the wild symbol, whose image is that of a Garden. This symbol is the kind that expands, covering the reel entirely and making it a wild. The downside is that it’s not going to appear on all the reels, as only the three middles ones can get it. The expansion takes place whenever a combo can be formed as a result of this action, so if that’s not possible, it doesn’t happen. With only three reels allowing it to appear on them, the wild is not capable of forming its own combinations, but it will substitute for any icon that needs it, as long as it’s not a scatter.

The scatter symbol is also present, but the difference is that it can award a prize based on the total number of icons which are present. Whenever you get between 2 and 5 Koi Fish scatters, you get paid between 2x and 100x what the round’s wager was.

Free Games Feature

Free spins are triggered with the Koi Fish scatter’s assistance, as you need a minimum of 3 such symbols in random locations on the reels. 10 free spins are given to players that land enough symbols, with the wild having a 3x multiplier for the duration of this feature.

Betting options and jackpots

You may use 1 to 25 coins each round, but know that in order to activate all the lines you also need all the coins. You also get to make a decision concerning the denomination of those coins, where the minimum value is $0.01, while the highest one is at $2. You can spend up to $50 each round.

The game will reward you with top payouts of 5,000 coins, so you can get $10,000 cash from it, as long as the denomination was the highest one possible.

Design and symbols

The game is wonderfully designed, as you will find yourself both by looking at the reels and at the image from the background. The background shows you a view of the Emperor’s garden, with a pond that has lotus flowers on it, with trees, insects and flowers all around it, plus you see the wall as well, with the game logo and some decorated dragons at its top. The symbols also come in themed versions, even the playing cards, so overall I’d say they did a wonderful job with this game.

Is It Worth Playing?

You will find that it has a charming design, one of the better ones available for slots with similar themes, and the features are at least OK, so all in all I’d say give it a shot.
