Stagecoach Slots

StagecoachStagecoach is the perfect Wild West themed slot machine, with cool graphics, interesting features and all the right characters, from the stagecoach, to its passengers and the bandits that are trying to rob it. While slot machines with this kind of Wild West influence are not rare, I haven’t seen any to take this particular angle, and stagecoaches are missing from most of them as well. I’ve also enjoyed the game tremendously, the graphics being perfect for this particular topic.

There are more reasons to love this game than just the theme and the graphics, as it offers a lot of lines, 50 available on 5 reels. As features you will receive the wild, the scatter and the Teepee Pick feature which triggers the free spins and their multipliers. You can win up to $5,000.

Features of Stagecoach

The slot’s best features come from the symbols that are related to the Native Americans, not to the stagecoach. Wild symbols and scatters are available, and they will bring with them multipliers and free spins.

The Chief symbol is the wild, present on the reels 2, 3 and 4. Able to substitute for regular icons, the wild is a feature which can be quite useful, especially since it doubles prizes whenever it actually helps with a win. The Teepee is the scatter and it’s the only one that the wild can’t substitute for.

The Teepee scatter icon will be present on all the reels, though only your luck will determine whether you actually get it in that many positions. The presence of at least three, and up to five Teepees, will trigger prizes that give you from 3x to 200x the wager.

Teepee Pick Feature

You only need two Teepees scattered on the reels to get the bonus game started, but they will have to appear on the 1st and the 5th reel at the same time.

The feature’s bonus game asks you to choose from the 5 Teepees shown on the screen. They will reveal Cowboys, Chiefs or Indians. Getting an Indian will result in 1 free spin and in an additional pick being awarded.

If a Chief is displayed by your choice, you will be given 2 free spins and a new bonus round. With each bonus round, you get a new choice of picks to be made from the 5 Teepees. A maximum of 4 bonus rounds can be activated with the Chief’s help.

The Cowboy, when revealed, gives you 5 free spins, but then the Teepee Pick feature will end.

Once these bonus rounds are done with, you get to play the free spins that you’ve accumulated along the way. They will have a base multiplier of 1x, plus 1x for each bonus round that you went through. Retriggering the free spins will bring you 5 additional rounds.

Betting options and jackpots

Like with other slots from Nuworks, the wagers go from $0.01 to $1 on each active line, and since we have 50 of them here, you can bet up to $50 each round.

Your top reward will be 5,000 coins if you’re in the base game, meaning a maximum of $5,000. If the scatter gets involved, it can go up to 10,000 coins/$10,000. Multiple progressive jackpots can also be triggered, though at random and not directly by combinations formed by the slot.

Design and symbols

I’ve found in Stagecoach a design that I’m quite impressed with. A wooden fort is shown behind the game area, while on the reels you will find only images which belong to the Wild West. From Indians, to forts, arrows, whiskey, Colt revolvers or bandits, you’re getting pretty much every image that you have formed in your mind about those times. The cartoon like images used here don’t make it any less fun, on the contrary.

Symbols: Chief (wild), Teepee (scatter, 200x the bet), Stagecoach (2,500 coins), Fort (1,500 coins), Cowboy (1,000 coins), Colonel (500 coins), Lady (500 coins), Revolver (250 coins), Saddle (250 coins), Arrows (250 coins), Whiskey (100 coins), Cactus (100 coins) and Plant Bundle (100 coins).

Is It Worth Playing?

It is a very good slot for a fan of the genre, though I would recommend it to everyone, even if it’s not the kind of game they usually go after.

Stagecoach can be found at any NuWorks casino, where you get a chance to play it for real money or in free mode.
