High Rollers Slots

High-Rollers-RTG-slotA game designed by the developers from RTG, High Rollers might sound like a game dedicated to players that can afford to wager big, but the actual theme has to do with the hippy movement of the 70’s, using as symbols some of the iconic things that have come to represent it. As for the name, it seems mostly to suggest people being high and rolling cigarettes, so it’s more of a recreational theme than anything else.

As for what the game has to offer, this is a classic title that will offer up to 5 paylines on its 3 reels. There is a small feature inside, a wild symbol, but otherwise this game is a classic both in graphics, layout and in the way you play and bet on it. As for the game’s best prizes, they only give you about $500, so you’re not going to get rich from it.

Features of High Rollers

The Peace sign is used in High Rollers only as a wild, so it can’t offer its own payouts. Whenever this sign appears on one of the active lines, it will contribute towards a new combo being formed, if the rest of the positions have the required identical symbols. Then again, with two wilds present on a line, you only need one other symbol on the payline and it doesn’t matter what it is.

Betting options and jackpots

There are only 5 paylines in this game, so you will find that there are also 5 coins that can be used. The coin denomination is between $0.05 and $5, so with all the coins used you’re looking at a $25 top wager per spin. You have the option to select fewer lines if you want to, but it’s not a good idea from the jackpot’s point of view, as you will learn below.

The first four lines have prizes that can go up to 48 coins, but the fifth line gives you more for the top jackpot combo. Every other symbol pays the same, no matter on what payline they form the combination, but the top jackpot is worth 100 coins on the last payline, versus 48 coins on paylines 1 to 4. 100 coins means only up to $500 though, so don’t get too excited. If there is one thing to appreciate about this slot, is the fact that it doesn’t have a lot of symbols, so you should have a decent chance at hitting paying combinations regularly.

Design and symbols

The 70’s design style is unmistakable, with a hippie dude placed on the left of the paytable, with plenty of flowers and a rainbow like variety of colors used everywhere else. It’s not a great design, but it fits with the 70’s hippie movement image quite well.

Symbols: Peace Sign (wild), VW Van (100x), T-Shirt (24x), Butterfly (6x), Lava Lamp (3x).

Is It Worth Playing?

This is a game with a pretty focused audience. Not everyone is a fan of the hippie movement or the 70’s, so I’m sure a lot of people will want to skip it. Those that did enjoy those times though, they should give it a go, it looks like fun.

High Rollers can be found at any RTG casino, where you get a chance to play it for real money or in free mode.
