Jolly Harbour Slots

Jolly-HarbourJolly Harbour is one of the slot machines that WGS created with a theme that is related to an English harbour. Slots like English Harbour or Harbour Master use the same type of graphics, though they have different symbols and one of them is a classic, while the other is like Jolly Harbour, a five reel game with few paylines on it. Like before, there is a connection with harbours and sail ships, but the developers added a couple of sea creatures as well in this game, which wasn’t the case with the others.

With only 5 bet lines on 5 reels, Jolly Harbour isn’t the most impressive slot machine you could spend money on. It doesn’t help that it lacks features, offering absolutely nothing that could be classified that way. As for its biggest prizes, their top value is at $100,000.

Features of Jolly Harbour

I haven’t found any features in Jolly Harbour, but it wasn’t a surprise since I’ve played the other slots from the series, and they all did things the same way. It was true both for the classic and the modern variants from the Harbour series. If you don’t feel the need to be entertained by the games that you play, Jolly Harbour might be a good enough choice, since you only have to spin reels and see if you’ve won. Expect for its gameplay to offer you a limited number of wins though, since there are so few lines for them to appear on.

Betting options and jackpots

The betting is easy enough to figure out. You have 5 lines at your disposal and 5 coins that you can use on them. Each line gets one coin, whose value will be worth anywhere between $0.01 and $10, the total going as high as $50.

The top jackpot looks good, but at 10,000 coins it’s not out of the ordinary as a return on an investment. It is also difficult to get since so few paylines are active each round. Its maximum value would be $100,000.

Design and symbols

The design hasn’t changed much overall, but compared with the other Harbour slots, some of the symbols are different. You will notice manta ray or clown fish among the symbols, while others are ship related, showing you ship’s wheels, anchors or life savers. If you look at the background image, what you will see is a boat with oars, which seems to be tied down at the docks.

Symbols: English Harbour Logo (10,000 coins), Fish (1,500 coins), Anchor (500 coins), Ship’s Wheel (200 coins), Life Saver (100 coins), Lollipop (50 coins) and Manta Ray (20 coins).

Is It Worth Playing?

There are quite a few similar slots in the WGS collection, with the same type of payouts, graphics and even lack of features, and I didn’t enjoy any of them.

You will find Jolly Harbour at any online casino which chooses to use software from WGS, playable either for free or for real money.
