Kanga Cash Slots

Kanga-CashKanga Cash is a Wager Gaming slot machine, with a theme built around the Australian outback. It’s not a very common choice, but a couple of similar slot machines exist already. Kanga Cash offers a view of both the popular wild animals that only Australia has to offer, and of a local that is living in a shack somewhere in the desert, and he seems to be looking for gold by the looks of it.

This Australian themed game gets 5 reels & 25 win lines, plus a $100,000 jackpot. As features, Kanga Cash includes a wild symbol, a scatter symbol and a bonus game, a weaker offering than what they usually go for.

Features of Kanga Cash

You can get help along the way from the wild symbol, the scatter and there is a bonus game as well, where you get to pan for gold.

The Kangaroo appears in the main role in this game, used as the wild symbol and the trigger for the biggest prize as well. It will offer you a maximum prize of 10,000x when a full five symbol combo is formed by it. When it doesn’t create its own combinations, the wild substitutes for any other symbol that needs it, provided that its position allows it to do something about it.

The Shack where the slot’s main character resides is the game’s scatter feature. Its main role here is to give you a prize, while appearing in any position on the reels. The only requirement is for a minimum number of symbols to be present, with the value of the bet being returned to you when two Shacks are present, while the full prize of 200x the bet is offered when there are five.

Gold Panning Feature

The Shack symbol gets to start up the bonus game as well. The requirement is for three or more Shacks to appear, which will get you both the bonus game and the cash prize that I mentioned above.

During this feature you pan for gold and each nugget you find gets you a prize. The more nuggets you get, and the bigger their size, the more valuable the prize you can take home.

Betting options and jackpots

Bet all 25 coins that are needed to activate the 25 lines, and use the maximum denomination, and you end up with a $250 wager. Each of these coins has $10 as its highest limit, while $0.01 is the minimum allowed. You can activate as many lines as you want.

The 10,000 coins that the Kangaroo wild can award with its own five symbol combo will have a maximum total value of $100,000.

Design and symbols

The design is a bit more simple than I’d like it to be. I’m not a fan of this design style, where the images look like they’ve been painted, without enough details to really bring it home. Add to that the presence of the standard multi-colored playing cards, and the fact that they take most of the positions on the reels, and you will understand why the design wasn’t satisfactory.

Symbols: Kangaroo (10,000 coins, wild), Shack (200x the bet, scatter), Man (5,000 coins), Koala Bear (2,500 coins), Hat (750 coins), Food (750 coins), Ace (300 coins), King (300 coins), Queen (250 coins), Jack (250 coins), 10 (200 coins) and 9 (200 coins).

Is It Worth Playing?

For a game that’s themed around Australia, Kanga Cash does a decent job. I enjoyed the gold panning bonus game and the slot’s top jackpot, so those would be two good reasons to try it out.

The Kanga Cash slot machine is offered through the Wager Gaming platform, so if you want to play it for real or just to practice, look out for casinos that use it.
