Lucky 7s Slots

Lucky-7sLucky 7s is one of the more unusual titles that Wager Gaming has offered so far, but despite being unique in its own way, it doesn’t seem to manage to be a great alternative to the other slots on the market. One of the things that sets it apart is the number of reels available, with 7 of them being used. The theme is a classic one, as is the quality of the graphics, which I for one am not satisfied with.

With 7 reels and 7 paylines, Lucky 7s seems to enjoy using the number 7 as often as possible. It doesn’t apply to its top payout though, as that one’s worth $25,000, or to the number of features, since you get zero.

Features of Lucky 7s

The game’s simple design and classic symbols aren’t just for show. The intention here seems to have been to create a title where you have no features, just like in a classic slot machine, but more reels than you get in a normal modern title. The slot also uses a relatively low number of symbols, only six of them appearing in the game. The payouts offered by the game require a minimum of three symbols, with the best prizes awarded when the entire line of seven symbols is occupied by the same icon.

Betting options and jackpots

Since you have 7 lines in front of you, you need 7 coins to activate them all. A single coin can be used for each line, so you can’t vary your bet with their help, but their denomination has enough of a range, going from $0.01 to $10. With all the coins/lines used, you can bet up to $70.

A 2,500 coins top prize is advertised on the slot’s paytable, so you can win up to $25,000 cash.

Design and symbols

The design feels like a classic as well, the resolution of the images used in this case being rather low. There are mostly symbols that have that classic connection, four of them using 7s in them, the others being cherries and money bags. Even the background picture is a boring one, with a blue background and blue 7s on it. Besides the number of reels that were included, which can be an advantage or not, depending on how bored you are with regular slots, there isn’t anything good that I can say about the design of the slot.

Symbols: Lucky 7s Logo (2,500 coins), Money Bag (1,000 coins), Gold Bar Sevens (500 coins), Casino Chip Sevens (100 coins), Yellow Seven (75 coins) and Cherries (50 coins).

Is It Worth Playing?

I’d say it’s safe to skip, unless you want to give it a spin or two and see how a 7 reel game works. They’re not that common, so curiosity would be the only reason I see to try this game out.

You will find Lucky 7s at any online casino which chooses to use software from Wager Gaming, playable either for free or for real money.
