Lucky Lady Slots

Lucky-LadyLucky Lady is a vintage themed game, a slot machine where the action takes place sometime during World War II. The Lucky Lady in question seems to be a bomber which has a blonde pin-up girl painted on the side of its nose. Wager Gaming is the creator of this particular slot machine, and it’s quite different from the themes and designs that it usually uses. It also has that retro vibe that you expect to see from such games, and it’s a good looking title overall.

Lucky Lady has 5 reels & 25 win lines. Among the symbols you will find some with extra roles, including a bonus symbol, a wild and a scatter. The top payout is on the low side, offering $10,000.

Features of Lucky Lady

A total of three symbols were included in the special feature section of the paytable. You can get a wild symbol in the form of the Lucky Lady, a bonus round with the help of the Plane, or cash prizes when the scattered Star gets involved.

Lucky Lady is the wild and the image used for it is that of the blonde wearing a pilot’s hat. She is only going to make appearances on the reels 2, 3 and 4, without offering prizes directly and without compensating in any way for the fewer apparitions that it has in this game. It doesn’t substitute for the Plane bonus, but nothing is mentioned about the scattered Star symbol.

If you’re looking for a special feature symbol that will reward you with cash prizes, look for the Blue Star, the scatter symbol. The only thing it does in this game is award cash prizes which multiplies the total bet with a number between 1 and 100, depending on how many scatters were present (two to five possible).

Bonus Game

A minimum of three Planes, appearing from left to right on a payline, will trigger the slot’s only bonus game. Up to three bonus rounds are won in this feature and at each step the player has to choose from among five Planes, in order to find the prizes. The maximum payout offered by each plane is 100x the bet.

Betting options and jackpots

You’re going to be able to spin the reels with a bet of just $0.01 if you want to, using a single coin at its lowest denomination, but that will trigger only one line and its prizes would be very low. You can activate more lines with additional coins, up to 25 being available. You can also change the denomination, the maximum being $10. As for the biggest bet allowed, it’s at $250.

A 1,000 coins top prize is won when the right symbol comes along and covers a payline, with $10,000 being the cash value. The scatter symbol is going to offer considerably more, its 100x prize being worth up to $25,000.

Design and symbols

The action in Lucky Lady takes place aboard a WW2 bomber. You will notice behind the reels the various dials and displays that the pilot looks at, while on the left side there is also the pin-up girl that the bomber was named after. The gray metallic look is visible in a few different places, but there are some brighter colors as well, though unfortunately they come from playing cards. It’s a retro look that I for one enjoyed seeing, and which I’d love to see in more slots.

Symbols: Lucky Lady (wild), Plane (bonus), Blue Star (100x bet, scatter), Altimeter (1,000 coins), Bomb (750 coins), Pilot’s Hat (600 coins), Love Letter (600 coins), Ace (300 coins), King (300 coins), Queen (200 coins), Jack (200 coins), 10 (150 coins) and 9 (150 coins).

Is It Worth Playing?

The retro theme and the features would be the main reasons to try it out, while the small top prize would be the one that cancels the other two out. It’s going to be a fun game, but if you’re looking to get rich playing a slot machine there are some that pay a lot better.

The Lucky Lady slot machine is offered through the Wager Gaming platform, so if you want to play it for real or just to practice, look out for casinos that use it.
