Trick or Treat Slots

Trick-or-TreatTrick or Treat is the kind of game that people flock to when Halloween is near, and they want to get into the spirit of the holiday. Its name actually mirrors the holiday’s most heard expression, and inside you will find a mix of witches, carved pumpkins and lots of candy, all things that you can expect from it. The designer of Trick or Treat is called Wager Gaming.

You get a classic title, so naturally you’re going to find only 3 reels and 1 line in it. However, that doesn’t mean that you’re going to get bored, as there are bonus games and wilds to help you out along the way. There is also a $24,000 jackpot.

Features of Trick or Treat

The slot uses a system that Wager Gaming seems to be quite fond of, where the features in a classic slot machine are only activated by the third coin that is used by the player. The first two coins will simply offer prizes, which increase with each additional coin, but the third coin increases only the top jackpot, and instead of raising the prize level for the rest of the symbols it will add features to the game instead. The features that are offered this way are the wild symbol and a multiplier that is attached to it, plus a bonus game.

The wild’s representative on the reels is the image of the Witch. First of all, this is the symbol that awards the top jackpot, so you can get 2,400 coins from it when three positions on a line are taken by wilds. Second, it acts as a wild the rest of the time, so whenever one or two wilds are on the payline they will substitute for any other symbol that is needed in order for a combo to appear. One wild in a combo doubles the payout, while the contribution of two wilds is rewarded with a prize worth four times as much.

Second, we have the bonus symbol, the image of a carved pumpkin being on it. Get a single symbol with the pumpkin on the line, and your reward will be a bonus game where you get to make a pink and get a prize from it.

Betting options and jackpots

As many other 3 reel titles do, Trick or Treat allows the player to decide how many coins he wants to use on that one win line. The range is 1 to 3 coins, with each one having a denomination that can be anywhere between $0.01 and $10. Add it all together, and you end up with bets of up to $30.

The slot’s biggest reward is at 2,400 coins, offered through a three wild combo. Cash wise, it’s at $24,000 or less.

Design and symbols

The design seems to be reused from another slot machine of theirs, I’ve definitely seen it before and not in this game. Even so, it’s a decent design for a classic title, with a haunted mansion in the background, with the evil witch and with bats flying everywhere. The paytable section is the best looking part of the slot, the rest being a typical classic design.

Symbols: Witch (2,400 coins, wild), Carved Pumpkin (bonus), Gravestone (160 coins), Three Yellow Bar (80 coins), Two Green Bar (50 coins), One White Bar (20 coins) and Candy (20 coins).

Is It Worth Playing?

You’re going to enjoy it when Halloween is near, and you’re looking to get into the spirit of the holiday, and I do like the features and the graphics as well.

The Trick or Treat slot machine is offered through the Wager Gaming platform, so if you want to play it for real or just to practice, look out for casinos that use it.
